Under FMA 1967 (BOWEC Regulations 85), a scaffold must be inspected by a designated person(s) before it’s allowed to be used.  Scaffolds should be inspected:

• After installation or assembly in any position
• At intervals not exceeding 7 days
• Exposure to weather conditions which is likely to affect its strength & stability
