Chargeman L2 Underground (UG)

This course is designed to give participants the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake duties for laying cables for underground lines. It involves the rules and regulations under Sarawak Energy’s cable laying standards and Safety Rules with relevant safe working procedures to comply with Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) 2022.

The Chargeman L2 Underground course equips individuals to manage underground electrical systems, covering installation, maintenance, safety, regulations, and troubleshooting for supervisory roles.

Upon completion and passing of course and assessment, participants shall certified competent as a EIU Chargeman L2 (UG) after registration with the Electrical Inspectorate Unit (EIU).

Pre-requisite :

• 3 year working experience needed. Experience must be in an environment with active electrical equipment.
• Experience in controlling live equipment necessary.
