Chargeman L2 Overhead (OH)

This course is designed to give participants the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake duties as a Linesman for low voltage overhead lines. It involves the rules and regulations under Sarawak Energy’s Overhead Lines Manual and Safety Rules with relevant safe working procedures to comply with Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) 2022.

The Chargeman L2 Overhead course trains individuals to manage overhead electrical systems, covering installation, maintenance, safety, regulations, and troubleshooting, preparing them for supervisory roles

Upon completion and passing of course and assessment, participants shall certified competent as a EIU Chargeman L2 (OH) after registration with the Electrical Inspectorate Unit (EIU).

Pre-requisite :

• 3 year working experience needed. Experience must be in an environment with active electrical equipment.
• Experience in controlling live equipment necessary.
